About the Role
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will work closely with the shop-floor and production teams, assisting in day-to-day manufacturing operations, process monitoring, and efficiency improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production planning and shop-floor coordination.
- Assist in monitoring machine operations and equipment efficiency.
- Help with data collection for productivity and cost analysis.
- Contribute to workplace safety and 5S implementation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in manufacturing systems and shop-floor operations.
- Freshers with academic exposure to production practices are encouraged to apply.
Key Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of lean tools (5S, Kaizen, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
