Educational Qualification 

MBA – International Business/ Operations 

BE, BSc, BTech in Automobile / Mechanical / Petroleum 

Sr. Ex- SC/Asst. Manager SC 

  • Managing procurement, budgeting, planning, and chalking out strategies for lean Supply Chain 
  • Ensuring optimum production and minimal equipment down time by ensuring optimum inventory levels. 
  • Limiting purchases in line with networking capital thereby increasing inventory turn ensuring seamless operations/ production.  
  • Financial Budgeting – Based on actual and forecasted consumption / sales for all the departments.  
  • Contract Management – legal, financial, Capex and Opex  
  • Devised new techniques and procedure for tracking consumable usage; consumption tracking and recording. 
  • Training the team members on management techniques 
  • Decision making on procurement and contract management. 
  • Strategic Procurement of spares and consumables  
  • Strategic Procurement of CAPEX and OPEX items for the drilling rigs 
  • Overseeing Inventory Management using ERP systems of the company incl. ADP, SAP. 
  • Overseeing Planning and Forecasting for Equipment and Spares; includes product categorization, consumption, cost, availability and lead time analysis (ABC, FSN et al) 
  • Procurement of spares and consumables from OEMs/ from global suppliers based on the new and pre-exiting distributorship agreements. 
  • Negotiating Price, Lead time and Payment terms with suppliers; with no compromise on Quality of Product  
  • Vendor development and management– For bulk supply as well as for emergency supply.  
  • Warehouse Management; includes Warehouse designing, Planning and Forecasting of stock and non-stock items, Inventory Management. 
  • Financial Budgeting; includes Annual forecast and planning of the consumables, CAPEX and OPEX items 
  • Stock Management – Daily Perpetual Inventory count, Binning, Categorization 
  • Inventory Control – Reducing the obsolete inventory by putting controls to avoid order duplication and ensuring the parts supersessions are updated. 
  • Vendor development for Local supplies for stocking daily use/ high consumption items. 
  • Crisis Management – Machine down conditions. Budgeting on Petty cash and Keeping the Local vendors in agreement for supply from Production or Emergency Stock 
  • Planning and Forecasting for Stock replenishments and stocking of critical items 
  • Designing & generating weekly & monthly statistical forecast reports. 
  • Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method, & approach. 
  • Relating & measuring the impact of forecast accuracy. 
  • Evolving & maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. 
  • Conduct current & future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed. 
  • Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand & market trends. 
  • Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with Marketing Managers, reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis on brand transitions, new products introduction & promotions. Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management. 
  • Prepare, report & communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets). Monitor SKU levels & recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future. 
  • Proactively facilitating, re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional experts. (Demand planning, Inventory planning, Purchasing, sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance) 
  • Monthly MIS 
  • Maintain & coordinate communication with principals.
